I knew my Dad was different. It took me awhile to figure it out, but along the way I realized not everyone had the courage to dream as big as he did. Sometimes even our friends and family would laugh at him, but it never stopped him from thinking his next big idea could change the world. Come to find out, the apple didn't fall far from the tree as I spent most of my 20's traveling the world taking photos. Funny enough, when you grow up hearing you can do whatever you want in life you eventually end up believing it.

True story - my Dad already tried this t-shirt thing once. A long time ago when I was just a baby he started a t-shirt company. We'll spare you the details, but that one didn't work out. This time around we decided to team up together and go on yet another wild ride to try and change the world (sorry, Mom). We love all mountains, but we are bias towards the ones in our backyard - the Smokies. Although they're beautiful, it doesn't take long to notice that there are a lot of impoverished communities near our mountains. This is what inspired our next big idea to try and help the kids that live right here in our backyard. We started this company, named it after our mountains, and the rest is history.
